Getting started with Microsoft’s Digital Marketing Center for small business

Over the past few months, Microsoft Advertising has been piloting an exciting new platform, Microsoft’s Digital Marketing Center, a Microsoft Garage project. This platform is a way to help small and medium-sized business owners manage their digital marketing across Microsoft Advertising and leading advertising and social media platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The pilot program — which has been running with a limited number of customers — is now being extended to more users in the United States. Those managing the online presence of a U.S. business can now apply to join up. Be aware, though, the Digital Marketing Center is only available in the United States currently.

Maj. Gen. Cedric T. Wins Becomes The First Superintendent of the Virginia Military Institute

Retired Maj. Gen. Cedric T. Wins has been named interim superintendent of the Virginia Military Institute, (VMI) becoming the first Black man to lead the school.

Wins was given the position of superintendent following an affirmative vote by the VMI Board of Visitors Executive Committee. The major general graduated from VMI in 1985 and is a 34-year veteran of the U.S. Army.

According to VMI, Wins was a standout basketball player, finishing his basketball career as one of the top five scorers in school history. Wins also helped VMI reach the Southern Conference finals during his freshman year.

During his military career, Wins held numerous titles and staff assignments, including in the Headquarters Department of the Army and the Joint Staff at the Pentagon.
